Landscape photography in the Maldives may sound unusual, since the islands are mostly known as a destination for honeymoons or weddings.. In 2023, I spent a week there with my partner, staying at the Diamonds Thudufushi resort. We wanted a trip where we could truly rest, without waking up at 6 a.m. every day to hike or chase viewpoints. Of course, knowing myself, I couldn’t resist bringing my camera.
