About me

A portrait of landscape photographer Jennifer Esseiva in a Swiss forest, holding her Nikon Z8 camera, ready to capture the natural beauty around her.

I am a Swiss landscape photographer. There has always been an artistic streak in me. I started drawing at the age of 4 and discovered photography 11 years later during a course at school. It was at that moment that I was hooked on this art form, which has become a real passion and a means of expression for me.

While I am a creative and passionate person, I did not want to have a purely artistic professional career. That’s why I decided to go into graphic arts and visual communication to study multimedia design. After seven years as a web designer, I decided to continue my professional career in digital marketing.

Almost no weekend goes by where I don’t go out and take pictures. My Nikon Z8, affectionately named Arthur, is always with me. It has its dedicated place in the back of the car or as hand luggage when I travel. Arthur is my companion on every trip! Together, we have captured the beauty of Switzerland, the Faroe Islands, Scotland, the Azores, Madeira, and many other places.

After trying my hand at portraiture, reportage, wedding, and nude photography, I have perfected my skills in landscape photography. I particularly like dramatic-looking waterscapes. The more overcast and rainy it is, the happier I am! Not only is there less chance of someone being unintentionally photographed, but I find it gives a totally different dimension to landscapes.

As a Swiss artist, my passion for travel and landscape photography drives me to capture the world’s beauty through my lens. My Nikon Z8 and I are always ready for the next adventure, whether in the heart of Switzerland or a distant land.

Landscape photography of a woman dancing in a red dress in the Fanal forest on a foggy day. Mist blankets the mystical landscape of Madeira, enhancing the ethereal atmosphere. The photo, taken with a Nikon Z8, captures the woman's graceful movement amidst ancient laurel trees, their forms shrouded in the mist.
