Maldives

“In just a few minutes, the sun gives way to rain, and suddenly, the sky turns violet and orange for sunset.”

The Maldives is more than just a postcard paradise, it’s a place where light and water are always dancing. On the tiny island of Thudufushi, I spent my days walking barefoot between soft white sand and endless shades of blue, camera in hand.

Storms came fast and left even faster. One moment, the sky was deep grey, rain falling like a curtain over the sea. The next, the sun returned, painting the water in turquoise and gold. These quick changes created powerful scenes for photography : raw, peaceful, and alive.

Every step around the island brought something new. A double rainbow. A glowing sunset. The quiet after the rain. The Maldives may seem simple, but its beauty is full of surprises.
