In 2025 and 2026, I explored Norway landscape photography across the Lofoten Islands, the Steigen region and the Bodø area during two different seasons. While Steigen and Bodø were photographed in autumn, I had the opportunity to photograph the Lofoten Islands in both autumn and winter, allowing me to experience these Arctic landscapes in very different conditions.

Autumn in Northern Norway brought dramatic skies, fast-changing weather, rainbows and several nights of northern lights, especially in the Steigen region and around Bodø. Winter in the Lofoten Islands transformed the landscapes into a quiet Arctic world of snow-covered mountains, frozen beaches, icy shorelines and soft pastel light during sunrise and sunset.

This Norway landscape photography series features some of the most iconic locations in the Lofoten Islands such as Reine, Hamnøy, Skagsanden Beach, Uttakleiv and Haukland, as well as quieter areas in Steigen and around Bodø. Through this series, I wanted to capture both the grand landscapes and more intimate scenes, from dramatic coastal light to peaceful winter atmospheres and northern skies.
